Lake Macquarie Yacht Club Wedding
One beautiful day in January beside Lake Macquarie, under the shade of a wonderful old fig tree, a happy, buzzing group of family and friends gathered to witness the moving emotion as Sam and Chris tied the knot.
They love their home near the lake and wanted to keep things local on their wedding day. After a crazy, fun morning of preparation at home and the Belmont Executive Apartments with flower girls and page boys, and their super cute son Fletcher, they headed to Pelican for a ceremony with the very lovely celebrant, Brittany Turner.
After a bunch of group and family photos, the bridal party took off to some of their favourite spots on the lake for an awesome location photo session and a few sneaky drinks before heading to the wedding reception at Lake Macquarie Yacht Club.
Sticking to their motto of keeping things relaxed, the newly-weds opted for food trucks by Eat Food Trailer to keep their guests well fed. What better way could there be to end an amazing day than enjoying pizza, tacos and drinks with your best friends while watching the sun set at your favourite place in the world?
