What a delight it was to be involved in Shel & Bianca’s recent wedding in Newcastle !
King Edward Park made for the perfect backdrop to their ceremony, and Town Hall – always grand and gorgeous provided the perfect home for partying that extended well into the night.
Some of Bianca and Shel’s favourite haunts were visited, including the ocean baths, where even a strong gust of wind that deposited Bianca’s veil into the Tasman Sea, could not put a dampener on the fun.
Enjoy some of their images !
Lacey & Dean’s wedding was so much fun !!
Their beautiful and intimate ceremony at Longworth House in Newcastle, was followed by a fun photo shoot visiting some of their favourite spots around town.
Blessed with great light, mild weather, and vanilla bean cupcakes (courtesy of a visit to Cupcake Espresso in Hamilton), awesomeness ensued.

We were delighted to be involved in Cathy & Daniel’s recent wedding, and are excited to share some of the images with you !
Their beautiful ceremony in Newcastle was followed with a fun filled location shoot at some of their favourite places about town, in some of the nicest light we’ve seen this year.
Leanna & Hamish’s wedding was seriously amazing. A wedding celebrating the joining of two people, and two cultures… culminating in a extravaganza of colour.
Oh… and by the way, there was a DONKEY ! How freaking cool is that !?!
Awesome people, great light, Kombi’s and lego inspired cakes make for awesome weddings !
And Stuart and Laura’s recent wedding was indeed Awesome – with a capital A.
Enjoy some of their images, from their ceremony at the Burwood Rotunda, and their reception at Surf House by the beach !
Sposa bagnata, Sposa fortunata…. which loosely translates to ‘Rain on the wedding day, brings good luck’, – which must mean that Renee and Richard are REALLLLLLY lucky !
We of course feel lucky too, in getting to capture long-time-friends – Renee & Richard – on their wedding day.
Hope you love ‘em guys !
We are super excited to share with you some images from our little sis and (now officially!) bro’s wedding. Libby and Brett are two people who just “work”, and compliment each other beautifully. They have an awesome sense of humour (and an awesome family, even if I do so say so myself ) – and their wedding day was full of lots of personal touches.
They were married recently by the Lake at Valentine. With beautiful light and beautiful people, awesomeness ensued.
Enjoy some of their images from around Lake Macquarie and Newcastle.
We consider it an absolute honour whenever we are asked to capture someone’s wedding day…. and were particularly honoured when asked by our very own, exceptionally talented photographer, Marina.
An expert of photo-journalism herself, and with Matt (her awesome hubby) an embracer of all things quirky, creating their wedding images was always going to be a blast.
So, it’s with pleasure that I present some images from Marina and Matt’s wedding !
Perhaps, should you guys wish, we can convince Marina to write a little something about her insight from both-sides-of-the-camera – Watch this space SomethingBlueites!
Rachel & Ryan are a beautiful couple, and so very much in love !
We had a blast capturing their recent wedding in Newcastle, and embraced some gorgeous Autumn light.

Rain on your wedding day is considered good luck…. Which means that Casey and Andrew are REALLY lucky.
They are also REALLY in love, and REALLY nice people too… which made us REALLY pleased to be involved in their awesome wedding around Lake Macquarie.

Jess and Garrett our or sort of people. They are generous, genuine and very much in love.
We’d been looking forward to their wedding for some time – as well as having the opportunity to dig out our Lomo cameras and 3d rig. When the day finally arrived – we were pumped.
Their Christchurch Cathedral ceremony was beautiful (as if it could be anything but), and their reception at Surf House was truly rockin’.
Jess and Garrett… heres to an exciting life. xox
