Paula and Mathew’s backgrounds are in the hospitality industry and they have both seen their share of weddings! So, when it came time to plan their own wedding, they had a really clear idea of what the day should be.
“We wanted our day to be a party for us, and for our friends.” said Paula, “A lot of our friends work weddings all the time, so we wanted to pick a venue that we could do our own thing at. We stumbled across Stanley Park and were impressed with the location. We also loved that it wasn’t necessarily a typical wedding venue, I mean we found it on Stayz.com.au, and booked it straight away.” We think Mathew and Paula picked perfectly!
With the sound of waves lapping on the shoreline, this awesome couple married under a beautiful old fig tree, in a lovely ceremony by Paula’s aunt, Regina. Perfectly timed, the service was followed by a brief shower from then some amazing light, as the sun dipped below the cloud cover.
So many awesome photo locations onsite meant we were able to create some gorgeous wedding photos that really showed off Fullerton Cove and the gorgeous heritage homestead at Stanley Park.
The marquee just to the right of the main building was styled perfectly, featuring thousands of paper cranes created by our very patient bride. With brilliant food and great entertainment, we suspect the dancing continued well into the wee hours.
Paula & Mathew, what a pleasure it was to be involved in your day. We wish you both a lifetime of excitement!
