Sydney Wedding Photographer Captures Laura & Simon
The one thing we love about all of the weddings we are so honoured to capture is that they tell an amazing story of each and every couple.
Laura and Simon are no different! They first met while volunteering at the Wayside Chapel in Potts Point – which is where we first met them too. “The Wayside Chapel has provided unconditional love, care and support for people on and around the streets of Kings Cross since 1964.”
They have now been working there for years and to say they are really REALLY loved by everyone is an understatement.
They chose to have their wedding ceremony at the Wayside as they wanted everyone, family, friends, colleagues and the day to day visitors of the Wayside, to feel welcome….and so hundreds of people attended their ceremony with close friend and Wayside Reverend and CEO Graham Long ministering the wedding.
Rather than wedding gifts, Laura and Simon asked everyone to donate to their Smile For A Smile campaign. They raised an amazing $12k for a new set of teeth for Dave, a former visitor who is now the Wayside cleaner.
With thanks to the generosity of others, Laura and Simon had many details donated to help with their wedding without even asking – ring cleaning/resizing, the styling, the staffing and the printing.
